Task
The Mayor knows that the city prides
itself in its beauty yet he also knows that it takes great pride in protecting
the environment. To make sure that the decision to add lights will
not affect the sea turtles, he is sending out teams to find out about the
sea turtles. Instead of sending only people with similar backgrounds,
the teams will be made of specialists that look at different aspects of
the needs of the community and the turtle’s needs. The Mayor hopes
that the diiffering viewpoints will help him to see the whole picture.
The Mayor will then be able to make a decision that will be good for the
city and not be harmful for the turtles along with educating the public
on his decision.
Your question is:
Will the Mayor’s decision to light
up the night sky on the bridge harm the sea turtles in any way?
Your team will make a group presentation
to the Mayor of the city in the form of a slideshow. The presentation
