The year 1920 is the beginning of a period in American history referred to as the "The Roaring Twenties" or the "Good Ole Days".  World War I has just ended and Warren Harding has been elected President. Racial and ethnic tensions are high. Women are jubilant over their newly acquired freedoms. Mass production is flooding the market with an abundance of commodities. Social trends depict a  happy-go-lucky attitude as morality declines. These events, along with many others, set the stage for our nation's darkness years in history--the Great Depression.
