Great Sites to learn the
States and Capitals!
Sheppard Software
Comments: This is the best
website I have found for learning the placement of the states and the
capitals only because you can limit it to a part of the US.
You get a few extra states but at least not the whole US.
Quizlet – Comments: This site allows you to
make electronic flash cards. It flashes “one side” and you fill in the
other…great for helping them learn to spell the states and capitals
(because they have to type them correctly), as well as, the capital or
the abbreviation. Hint: make two sets. One for capitals and
one for abbreviations or you will have to differentiate in some way
which is the correct answer when it gives you South Carolina.
