I would like to extend a very warm welcome to you and your child to Second Grade. I am so excited about the upcoming year and the opportunity to work with you and your child. I would like to encourage you to be actively involved in your child’s homework activities. Parental support and assistance in the classroom and at home is greatly appreciated and encouraged. Please let me know how you would like to participate. I am always looking for volunteers.
This is one of many letters, notes, and newsletters that you will be receiving throughout the school year. A news-letter will be sent home every Friday. The newsletter will contain information about important dates, classroom activities, field trips, and special projects. Please sign and return the weekly behavior report on the following Monday. Your child’s weekly papers will also be sent home on Friday.
