Mrs. Saunders' fourth graders are studying electricity.  Each Wednesday they go into the Science Lab at James B. Edwards to do hands on activities.  They have made a balloon stick to the wall with static electricity, learned about magnets, made a compass, used a closed circuit to light up a bulb, and created an electromagnet.  At the end of the unit on electricity, the students will make their own game board with a working light bulb.

Students are getting ready for the Science Fair Open House with projects from one of four categories.  They are doing Models, Experiments, Collections, and Observations.
