Experience

I have been working with children who are deaf and hard of hearing for over five years.  I have worked at schools for the deaf as well as working at public schools with programs for children who are deaf. I’ve enjoyed being at James B. Edwards Elementary school for the past three years and I have been teaching the pre-school/HI program since the day it started.

Interests and Hobbies

I enjoy all kinds of outdoor activities and relocated to Charleston from Connecticut so I could spend more time outdoors year-round. I love playing games at the beach, reading books, and cooking/eating good food with friends.

I have been interested in Deaf Education since my first days in college, and became passionate about it when I was first exposed to teaching children who are hearing impaired. Please check out the links below for educational tools and helpful sites.
