Education	Mrs. Deas grew up in Cheraw, SC where she attended public schools.  She graduated from the College of Charleston in 1982 with a degree in Elementary Eduaction.  She graduated from The Citadel in 1990 with a masters degree in elementary counseling.
Family	Mrs. Deas has been married since 1988 and has one son, Edward, who was born in 1990.  She often refers to Edward as "the best teacher I've ever had."
Hobbies	Mrs. Deas has lots of hobbies.  She enjoys playing team tennis with her friends at Dunes West Racquet Club.  She also loves to bike, walk, and read good books for fun.
