INDIVIDUALIZED EDUCATION PROGRAM

When a student is eligible for the resource program, an Individualized Education Plan (IEP) is written specifically for this student.  Academic areas that are included in the IEP is determined by a comprehensive psychological evaluation that has been administered by our school psychologist.  An invitation letter is then sent to the parents inviting them to a scheduled IEP/Placement meeting.  Members of this meeting include the assistant principal, classroom teacher, resource teacher, parents, and the school psychologist.  Results of the psychological educational evaluation report are then discussed, along with a draft IEP.  The student will begin to receive resource services if parent approves and signs the IEP and placement form.
